Central Seventh Day Baptist Church was founded in 1978 as a branch church of the Washington, DC, Seventh Day Baptist Church. We have used the facilities of Hope Presbyterian Church for over 25 years and have enjoyed a rich relationship with that congregation and its pastors. Central SDB Church is made up of people just like you, seeking to live out their faith in an ever-increasingly complex world. We believe the Bible is valid for today. You are invited to join us on any Sabbath (Saturday) at 10:00 AM for Bible study. We have gifted teachers and classes for all ages. Our 11:15 AM worship service is a rich blend of traditional hymns and contemporary choruses, and the messages are always a "now" word for our lives. You will receive a warm welcome from us, and God's blessing of worshipping on His Holy Sabbath. If you need transportation to any of our services, please call our Pastor.

Our Community Outreach Ministries include HELP BY PHONE (the local food bank), and the SCHOOL OUTREACH PROJECT, where we donate school supplies throughout the year to two local elementary schools. Central is a member-in-good-standing of the Seventh Day Baptist General Conference, USA & Canada Ltd..
